Finding your way around the capital can be a daunting prospect but TheatreFix aims to make things a little easier.

There are many ways of travelling by train for less so here are a few ideas to help you plan your journey and make some excellent savings.

Transport for London

London’s public transport network is second to none, making it easy to navigate your way around central and greater London on a budget and without the hassle of driving.  Visit the TFL website to plan your journey by tube, bus, tram or DLR.

Getting around town

A Travelcard is the best way to travel to London and you can use the entire London transport network when you arrive in the capital, both under and over ground.

A pay-as-you go Oyster card is also an excellent way to get around London if staying for an extended period of time.

Not all of us like asking for directions, so if you want to come to the West End armed with a map download a detailed map of London’s Theatreland (pdf), or for a more detailed map, search by address or poscode at MultiMap.

Access Enquiries

Detailed informationon each individual theatre's access facilities can be found within the particular show's listing on Official London Theatre. If you are interested in attending a show and need to find out more, go to the relevant show listing and click on the tab labelled venue access.

Access Enabled Maps

There are also Access Enabled Maps available to download. The photos maps are easy to follow and detail journeys that have step-free access taking you straight to the theatre door.
